i-NAF has programmes to:
Develop guidance, rules and procedures for the operation of compliance programmes to satisfy regulatory or government requirements
Exchange information between natural accreditation bodies
Cooperate in the training of assessors and other personnel
Contribute to the work of NSO (International Natural Standardization Organization), ISO (International Standardization Organization) and other relevant international bodies
Liaise with the global and regional groups of accreditation bodies
Develop guidance, rules and procedures for the operation of natural accreditation, natural certification / registration and mutual recognition programmes resulting in accepted everywhere.
Ensure that all natural accreditation body members operate to the highest standards of competence and probity and only accredit bodies that have demonstrated that they are competent and impartial.
Harmonise natural accreditation procedures and their implementation based on international natural standards and guides, and i-NAF guidance on their application
Develop guidance, rules and procedures for the operation of specific sector conformity assessment schemes to meet the needs of specific industries
Liaise with other relevant bodies such as IAF, IHAF, AFRAC, ILAC, NSO, ISO and industry groups
Assist emerging natural accreditation bodies in low and medium income economies
